New birthday portrait of Princess Charlotte revealed

<p>The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a new photo of their daughter, Princess Charlotte, to celebrate her ninth birthday. </p> <p>“Happy 9th birthday, Princess Charlotte! Jetstar celebrates 20th birthday with "return for free" flights

Kate Middleton shares new birthday photo of Prince Louis

<p>Prince Louis has turned six! </p> <p>Prince William and Princess Kate have released a new photo of the young royal to mark his special day. </p> <p>"Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! Thank you for all the kind wishes today,” the couple wrote on social media. </p> <p>In the picture, taken by the Princess of Wales, the young royal donned a plaid shirt with blue pants and was smiling at the camera. </p> <p>Eagle-eyed royal watchers noticed one sweet detail in the photo: Prince Louis appears to have had a visit from the tooth fairy, as one of his bottom front-teeth was missing. </p> <p>“Thank you so much for sharing this delightful picture. I see the tooth fairy has been visiting - goodness time flies so fast,” one fan wrote on X. </p> <p>"Happy birthday Prince Louis!! John Travolta's heartbreaking tribute years after losing wife and son

<p>John Travolta has shared a heartbreaking post commemorating his late wife, Kelly Preston, and son, Jett Travolta. </p> <p>Jett was only 16 when he passed away while on vacation with his family in the Bahamas in 2009. Inside Gina Rinehart's 70th birthday bash

<p>Gina Rinehart has celebrated her 70th birthday in style, hosting a star-studded black tie event featuring a horse show and Australian music. </p> <p>The billionaire mining magnate threw the bash on the banks on the Swan River in Perth last week, setting up an enormous marquee where Guy Sebastian performed the national anthem to kick off the celebrations. </p> <p>Gina was joined by her staff at Hancock Prospecting, Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas who MC'ed the evening, and Opposition Leader Peter Dutton, who made a a nine-hour round trip just to spend 40 minutes at the private gathering as the star guest speaker.</p> <p>The evening was documented on Rinehart's business website, with the staff attendee recalling the glamorous party. </p> <p>“Many attended wearing their Rossi boots, and enjoyed a horseshow backed by the fantastic Aussie music, ‘The Man from Snowy River’, with riders accordingly also dressed in iconic Driza-Bone, and Rossi boots, carrying large Australian and company flags,” Hancock Prospecting said on its website.</p> <p>Mayor Zempilas also recalled the evening on Perth radio, saying, “It was a very special night actually.” </p> <p>“To see the admiration of the staff, the loyalty, I guess. Aldi shopper mercilessly mocked over "shotgun pellet" claims

<p>An Aldi shopper has been slammed online after claiming she found "shotgun pellets" in a piece of meat. </p> <p>The mum from Canberra took to a Facebook group dedicated to parents who shop at Aldi, to share pictures of a mysterious find in her corned beef.</p> <p>She claimed the slab of meat was laced with small metal balls, and after her growing concern about what she ingested, the woman went so far as to book in an abdominal x-ray. </p> <p>“Today I prepared a whole piece of meat in a pressure cooker that I bought at ALDI in Gungalhin, I was in a hurry so I only added one garlic and salt,” she wrote on Facebook.</p> <p>“While I was tasting a piece that had just been taken out of the pot, I felt something hard and noticed that it was a metal ball."</p> <p>“I checked the pot thoroughly but it was not part of the pot. Then I helped myself to another piece and realised there was one more I didn’t chew, I took it out and looked — ball was IN BETWEEN.</p> <p>“Can I complain to Aldi? Has it happened to you? I was going to give that meat to my two-year-old daughter, now I’m afraid. I prefer to throw it away.”</p> <p>She later added, “Update: shotgun pellets inside the cow meat! I have an abdominal [x-ray] for tomorrow to check if I ate some before noticed. There are more inside the meat."</p> <p>Despite her grave concerns, other shoppers were quick to slam her claims, with many arguing back that the small black balls appeared to be peppercorns and maintained that “no livestock are slaughtered with shotguns”.</p> <p>“Aren’t cows shot with a power head not bullets?” one said.</p> <p>Another wrote, “Cows aren’t shot with a shotgun they get a metal rod through the brain. Farmers don’t even use a shotgun, they use a gun that uses one bullet through the brain. This is very odd.”</p> <p>Many people also claimed that the round balls seemed to be peppercorns, prompting the mum to defend herself.</p> <p>She said, “That is not peppercorn! It’s completely round, the other one half is being covered by the meat. Definitely looks like something that shouldn’t be in there.”</p> <p>An ALDI Australia spokesperson has told <em><a href="https://7news.com.au/lifestyle" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-link-type="article-inline">7News</a></em> that it has not received any similar complaints.</p> <p>“We are in direct contact with customer and are investigating the possibility that this product has not met our strict quality and safety standard,” the spokesperson said.</p> <p>“We have not received any further complaints of a similar nature, however, customers can return any product they are not satisfied with for a full refund or replacement.”</p> <p><em>Image credits: Getty Images / Facebook</em></p>

<p>Jackie O Henderson has celebrated her 49th birthday in style with a lavish boat party. </p> <p>The KIIS FM radio host shared the details of her big birthday bash on the <em>Kyle and Jackie O show</em> on Monday morning.</p> <p>Henderson revealed that she had a tarot reader on board who gave readings to her friends, a variety of drinks and all-around good vibes. </p> <p>The party didn't stop there as the group of friends made their way through a series of bars, before heading to a friend's house for an after party.</p> <p>"I had fun," Henderson told co-host Kyle Sandilands and Brooklyn Ross, who also attended the party. </p> <p>"We went to Opera Bar and then Shellhouse... and then a private residence," she said.</p> <p>"We survived Jackie's boat party!" "Am I being too sensitive?": Woman's dilemma after partner forgets 60th birthday

<p>A woman has shared her dilemma on how to approach her partner of 30 years, after he forgot her 60th birthday. </p> <p>"It's my 60th birthday today, and my partner of 30 years has not acknowledged it. Should I tell him?" she titled her post on Reddit. </p> <p>"It's my actual birthday today, and whilst we have planned a big party for next weekend, when I woke up this morning I expected a 'Happy Birthday!' and a smile," she continued. </p> <p>"I didn't get anything. He started my coffee but he does that almost every morning.</p> <p>"At first I thought maybe he forgot but now I am thinking that he thinks he doesn't have to say anything because we are having a big party this weekend. </p> <p>"Am I being too sensitive? Major supermarket director slams "woke" rivals' Australia Day boycott

<p>John-Paul Drake, director of family-owned Drakes Supermarkets, has slammed rival supermarkets for moving away from stocking Australia Day merchandise. </p> <p>The fiery rant posted on social media came after the independent grocery retailer, which has 66 stores across South Australia and Queensland, shared their latest catalogue promoting Australia Day. </p> <p>The supermarket director said that his objection to “wokeworths” was about “choice”.</p> <p>“Whether you choose to celebrate Australia Day or not is totally up to you,” he wrote. </p> <p>“As a retailer, it’s my responsibility to let my customers choose if a product is suitable for them.</p> <p>“Just because you’re lactose-intolerant, does that mean I shouldn’t sell dairy products in store? <p>Aside from her cooking skills, <em>MasterChef's </em>Poh Ling Yeow is also known for her “ageless beauty” and this year, the beloved cook is gearing up for a double celebration. </p> <p>“My 50th birthday falls close to Christmas, and my dad wants to combine the two celebrations this year,” she told <em>Yahoo Lifestyle</em>. </p> <p>Poh told the publication that she opted to merge her birthday celebration and Christmas festivities in an effort to make the holiday season “stress-free” for her and her loved ones. </p> <p>“The key to a stress-free Christmas is reducing your personal workload, and I can’t think of a better way to get into the festive spirit than sharing preparations for the big day with family. <p>Dick Van Dyke's still got it. </p> <p>The TV and film legend was captured reenacting the iconic chimney sweep dance from the 1964 film <em>Mary Poppins, </em>just days before his 98th birthday. </p> <p>A behind-the-scenes clip of the<em> </em>actor filming his upcoming TV special <em>Dick Van Dyke 98 Years of Magic</em>, was shared on Instagram by Christina Karlin with the caption: “Celebrating this legend today.”</p> <p>The actor looked dapper in a suit, as he playfully performed a jazz square from the iconic film, using a cane for balance. </p> <p>Just last month US network <em>CBS </em>announced that they would be releasing a two-hour show celebrating Van Dyke’s upcoming birthday in a special way by taking a look back at his career spanning over seven decades. </p> <p>The special “will travel back in time to the iconic set of The Dick Van Dyke Show and feature dazzling music and dance spectacles, heartfelt performances, special guests and a magical holiday number,” a press release from the network read. </p> <blockquote class="instagram-media" style="background: #FFF;
